ystudio Brassing Rollerball Pen – White
Brassing is the word for what happens to a plated finish over years of handling — the coating wears at the high points and the metal underneath starts to show. ystudio build a pen that does it deliberately.
The white coating is meant to wear. Where your fingers sit and where it rubs in a pocket, gold brass comes through, so the pen ends up mapping how you have used it. Six fine brass lines along the body hint at what is underneath from the start. Solid brass, weighted for control, with a Schmidt Safety Ceramic Roller 5888 F fitted and standard rollerball refills accepted. It arrives in a gift box with a piece of sandpaper, in case you would rather not wait.
