Takeo Dressco Cloth Notebook
A hardcover notebook from Dressco, the stationery line of Takeo — one of Japan's oldest and best-known fine paper merchants. The cover is a woven cloth with a soft sheen, stretched over board. Inside are 112 pages of Conqueror Wove High White, a watermarked British stationery stock that fountain pen users have favoured for decades.
The text block is thread-sewn in seven sections of sixteen pages, which is why it opens flat wherever you stop rather than fighting you at the spine. A ribbon marker is fitted. At 187 by 257 millimetres this is a desk book rather than a pocket one — sized for long entries, meeting notes and drafts.
