Sikigu Fumibako Paper Storage Box – [Small & Large]

A lidded box for the things that accumulate on a desk — letters, receipts, a spare pen, whatever is currently in the way. It takes its proportions from kiri-bako, the paulownia boxes Japanese households have long used to keep valuables flat and safe.

It is made from paper, but the V-cut construction gives it corners sharp enough to look machined and a shell far more rigid than the weight suggests. A movable pen tray sits inside, so you can divide the space or lift it out and use the full depth. Two sizes, three colours.
