Makers Cabinet Ferrule Brass Pencil Extender
A pencil worth using rarely gets used to the end — the last few centimetres are too short to hold comfortably. The Ferrule solves that. It is a machined brass holder that grips a pencil stub and gives it back a full working length, with enough weight in the barrel that it handles like a good pen rather than a stopgap.
It takes any pencil between 7 and 8mm across, so most standard pencils fit. The cap holds an eraser that extends as it wears down, and the whole thing arrives ready to use with six Kitaboshi incense cedar pencils in HB and 2B. Brass picks up a patina with handling, so it looks better the longer you keep it.
