Luddite Kurashiki No. 8 Canvas Bendy Pen Case

Kurashiki No. 8 canvas is a heavy Japanese cotton duck — stiff when new, softening with use, and picking up the creases of however you fold it.

The case works two ways. Clipped shut it is a slim case with two zipped compartments. Unclipped it opens out and reveals five hidden pen sleeves, sitting on the desk as a shallow tray you can see into. About five pens plus the small things that travel with them, without becoming bulky. Five colours.
