The Kyoto Inks KYO-NO-OTO Fountain Pen Ink is a beautifully crafted water-based ink collection inspired by traditional Japanese colours from the Heian period.

Produced in Kyoto using traditional Japanese dyeing techniques dating back over 1,000 years, these fountain pen inks offer smooth writing performance while reflecting a rich cultural history. The KYO-NO-OTO collection, meaning “sounds of Kyoto”, features 12 traditional Japanese colours designed to reproduce shades used during the Heian era. Each 40 ml glass bottle is hand finished with a sticker and presented in an outer box made from thick textured card.
