Kakimori Mini Nib Holder (Forest)

A short dip pen holder in Japanese maple, balanced so that its size does not make it awkward — which is the usual failing of a small holder.

The green finish comes from plant-based oils rather than paint, so the grain still shows and deepens as the wood is handled. Designed by Makoto Koizumi. At 110mm it suits a quick note or a short sketching session rather than a long letter; the full-length holders are better for that.
