Kakimori Diluting Solution 35ml
A bottle for making ink into less of itself. A few drops into pigment ink lightens the tone and opens it up — the colour holds its character but turns translucent, closer to watercolour than to writing ink.
It is formulated for Kakimori and Inkstand pigment inks specifically. Useful for mixing a shade you cannot buy, laying a gradient across an illustration, or simply softening an ink that is darker than you wanted. Designed by Makoto Koizumi, in a 35ml glass bottle that matches the ink bottles on a desk.
