Kakimori B6 Planner - The Trail of a Slug
Dating the year ahead in your own handwriting. Featuring artist collaboration covers and Mitsubishi Bank Paper pages, our B6 planner is made to inspire joy and ease every day. The undated format is perfect for starting and planning at any time.
Paper type: Bank paper
Yutaka Kawai is a painter based in Mashiko, Tochigi prefecture. He works out a large old house that is both his home and studio. His works feature acrylics and watercolours in highly varied styles that range from abstract and geometric to calligraphy-like linework. His practice is free from many conventions — his paintings are neither titled nor framed, and he is known to alter his works even after completion.
We chose three designs for our planner that capture Kawai’s independent spirit. The designs are vibrant and cheerful, just the kind of companion we want our planner to be.
Design feature 1: Format
The planner has split spiral binding for lay-flat use with plenty of space for your hand. For the pages, we’ve chosen Bank Paper, a versatile paper suitable for all types of writing tools. It’s a planner that you’ll look forward to opening up each day and get planning.
Design feature 2: Cover
Our cloth covers are made by wrapping each hard cover in fabric, reinforcing delicate corners for a long life.
Design feature 3: Pages
The pale blue-grey print provides the perfect backdrop for your handwriting. Create a simple look using a single colour, or be bold with colourful and decorative lettering. Let the planner take on your personal style.
Design feature 4: Refills
Refills are available at our Tokyo shop, so you can enjoy your favourite cover year after year.
