HMM Paperweight & Pen Stand

A milled aluminium ring that does two jobs depending on which way up you think about it: it weighs paper down, and it holds a pen upright through the middle.

101g in a 50mm disc is enough to keep a stack of paper flat against a draught or a fan. Twelve bevelled faces catch light around the edge — HMM's signature detail, and the thing that stops it looking like a washer.

Trade notes

Two functions in one object is the pitch, and the second one is invisible unless a pen is standing in it — display it that way. Solid aluminium gives it a hand-feel well above its price; it needs picking up to sell.
